Xiaomi has shifted its focus, surprisingly, on a Redmi flagship device that might be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 as rumors say. However, it would be better to believe the information confirmed by Lu Weibing, the Redmi General Manager.
Redmi Poco F2 to sport super wide angle lens, NFC, and 3.5mm audio jack
Weibo was the first to hear what Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing had to say about the new flagship. It was mentioned that it would be equipped with a super wide angle lens, but that is not everything.
Furthermore, it will have an audio jack measuring 3.5mm, and it will have NFC support. The codename of the smartphone is Raphael, and earlier leaks claimed that the onboard storage of it will be of 256GB and will have GPU overclocking.
Compared to the hugely successful Redmi Poco F1, as it was considered by industry experts, the Xiaomi Redmi Poco F2 will be even better.

Some of the specifications that were leaked mention that the phone will feature a full-HD+ display measuring 6.39 inches that will have Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Some other details claim that there will be three cameras on the back of the phone including an 8-megapixel sensor, a 48-megapixel sensor, and one 13-megapixel sensor. There were some assumptions made on the patent leaks as well saying that a pop-up camera will be added to the Redmi flagship, but a hole punch display will be included instead as some rumors claim.

The release date of the Redmi flagship device has not been confirmed yet, but as more and more information is being shared about the smartphone itself, it should not be more than a month until we get an official teaser of it in its whole beauty.
