Borderlands 3 and Bloodlines 2 Are No More Available For Epic Mega Sales

Gamers were happy to find out recently that the Epic Games Store went out with a massive sale for a vast array of games. However, one downside of their excellent marketing strategy was the fact that they took out Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, as well as Borderlands 3 from the sale. What’s more, Bloodlines 2 was even removed from the store, which upset many fans of the popular franchise.

The Epic Sales in a Nutshell

The Epic Mega Sales promoted by the store comes together with generous discounts, such as a tenner off all the games available, meaning for all the products that exceed 13.99 or 14.99 pounds. This is the courtesy of the Epic games producer itself, to which you can add other price-cuts coming from the publisher.

This means that you could enjoy a preorder of Borderlands 3 with 10 dollars or pounds off; it was also valid for Bloodlines 2, which should be released at the beginning of 2020. However, Borderlands 3 appears in the store as “coming soon,” so you can’t preorder it. Meanwhile, Bloodlines 2 does not appear at all on the store, which saddened many fans.

Why Epic Removed Borderlands 3 and Bloodline 2 From Epic Sales?

We don’t have a clear answer on that, but PC Gamer reported that Paradox Interactive, which is the publisher for Bloodlines 2, asked the game to be taken down from the store. Sadly, they didn’t offer any official reason for that, but it seems that Epic games complied. Meanwhile, 2K, the Borderlands 3 publisher, declared that they are closely working with Epic, which is why they took off the game from the storefront.

From what it seems, this is just a temporary situation, so there’s no need to worry about the future of the two games. If anything, we should be happy that they’ll work to get a better version of the games before releasing them on the market.
