The company behind the famous GTA, and also Red Dead Redemption 2, Rockstar, has made a name for itself in its releases of blockbuster games four-to-five years apart. The GTA publisher has sold almost 110 million copies of GTA 5, for instance, which makes a new series highly possible. GTA 6 Location Rumors
The GTA 6 might be set in Liberty City, as an image of the city appeared on a Rockstar developer’s profile. This, however, could have been something else than a hint to the game’s setting, but Rockstar said once that they might put all the GTA cities into a vast game.
Another setting suggestion could be London as Dan Houser talked about the city being implemented in a GTA series, back in 2013. In another old interview, Houser said that a GTA edition could be set to play in another country than the USA. He said that even if it appears to him that GTA is modern, American-ish, and only using English, the game is not restricted to these boundaries, and it will perhaps change the American setting sometime in the future.
Another rumor by Christian Today claims that the GTA will have a 60s London setting and will involve time travel. Cosmic Book mentioned a Pastebin post that has been removed, which said that the game would come with a few cities linked by a large area of land with small towns.
GTA 6 Gameplay Rumors
The player starts the game as a little rogue and levels up leading a drug-running criminal operation, in the last mentioned version.
It is possible that some criminal affairs will be present in the new GTA 6. Regardless of when it launches, we hope Rockstar will also release a version for PC this time around, besides the console versions.
