The Android operating system is renowned for many things, but the most important advantage that using an Android-powered smartphone brings is the fact that users will always be the first ones to access all of Google’s software updates. The Android parent wants to make sure that its operating system offers a premium user experience and this is why it is tirelessly working and releasing software updates that introduce enhancements and bug fixes. In fact, Google has recently pushed out a new update for none other than Google Play Services.
Introducing: Google Play Services
The first thing that everyone should know about Google Play Services is that this is a background app. This is the reason why many Android fans have no idea what Google Play Services is doing on their smartphones and why some even delete it in order to free up internal storage space. This is a big “no-no” for all Android fans since Google Play Services is the one in charge of high priority tasks such as synchronizing accounts, making mobile games feel immersive and many more other important tasks.
Google Play Services 17.7.81 Beta Update
Now that we have given Google Play Services a brief introduction, let’s go back to the new update that the background app has just received. The update sports the 17.7.81 version number and Google is rolling it out via OTA (over the air) channels right now. However, not all Android fans are going to receive the new update right now.
The new update is exclusive to Android smartphone users who are enrolled in the beta program. This means that the only way to access the latest 17.7.81 update for Google Play Services which comes with a handful of bug fixes and software tweaks that improve the overall performances of the background app is to create an Android beta account.
