Cyberpunk 2077 Official E3 2019 Trailer Presented by Keanu Reeves Who Will Also Star in the Game

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most anticipated video games of the decade. The title, which is developed by CD Projekt Red, was announced in January 2013. The initial teaser trailer attracted a large number of views, and many players were looking forward to more details and official release date. During Microsoft’s E3 2019 panel, Keanu Reeves, who will also star in the game, presented the Cyberpunk 2077 official E3 2019 trailer.

The project was delayed by the fact that a large number of resources were spent on the development of the critically-acclaimed The Witcher 3 and its two expansions, Hearths of Stone and Blood and Wine. During some interviews, it was inferred that the pre-production of Cyberpunk 2077 began in 2014, but the date is quite controversial.

The exact dates may remain a mystery, but it is likely that CD Projekt Red started to work on the game a little bit later. The starting team included 50 people, a number which rose after Hearts of Stone was finished. When Blood on Wine was released in 2016, Cyberpunk 2077 entered full development.

Cyberpunk 2077 Will Star Keanu Reeves

An announcement related to Cyberpunk 2077 was expected during the Microsoft E3 conference. Those present during the conference and people who watched the live stream were surprised when Keanu Reeves appeared on the scene, who is well-known for his roles as Neo in Matrix and John Wick in the eponymous trilogy. After teasing the public with some general information about the game, Reeves introduced the trailer, which showcases the main protagonist, V.

At the start of the game, players will have the option to choose between a male or a female protagonist. The trailer features the male version. The trailer reveals that V will be betrayed at some point by a trusted person. V will fight to escape a dangerous situation, but one of his enemies will disarm him with the help of a powerful augmentation. V wakes up in a landfill, and Reeve’s character is there to ask him to join a battle against the entire city.

Cyberpunk 2077 will roll out on April 16th, 2020.
