We have some good news for fans that are impatiently waiting for the release of Cyberpunk 2077. The company that develops the game, CD Projekt RED, confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 would receive an abundance of free DLC along with some more complex expansions that users will have to purchase. Also, additional content would come out for free, regularly.
Alvin Liu of CD Projekt RED said that the company would release a lot of free DLC pieces, just like they did with Witcher 3. He also confirmed that the company is planning on releasing expansions packs after the release of the game.
Cyberpunk 2077 players will also have the chance to explore open worlds, according to Liu. Since Witcher 3 was such a significant success, the company decided to take the best parts of it that brought the experience to the next level and incorporate them into the new Cyberpunk 2077 game.
Cyberpunk 2077 Will Have Free DLC And Lots of Additional Content And Expansion Packs
Alvin Liu also mentioned that the expansions packs are not bits of the full game that have been cut out to make more money out of fans. He said: “We’re not withholding content, we’re not withholding story for the future to try to, you know, monetize it or sell it in pieces or anything like that. You’re going to get the whole, full value game here.”
During this year’s E3 convention, that took place a couple of weeks ago, and the public first previewed Cyberpunk 2077 back then. Subsequently, questions were asked regarding the way Cd Projekt RED is handling different races representation in the video game.
The release date of Cyberpunk 2077 is set for next year, on 16th April 2020. One of the most exciting parts about the game is that Keanu Reeves is playing of the most important characters, a rock star named Johnny Silverhand.
