Super Smash Bros. Ultimate launched in 2018, and it is a crossover fighting game published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch. Being the fifth addition to the Super Smash Bros. series, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate includes over 70 playable characters from Nintendo’s mascots to characters from third-party franchises. With this in mind, we can’t help ourselves to wonder if the fifth and final DLC character added to the game will be the antagonist and anti-hero of the Mario series, Waluigi.
There are a lot of rumors coming out about Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and many of them are about the characters of the game. According to a new story, Nintendo is indeed planning to make Waluigi more famous and add him to Nintendo’s Switch game.
A Discord user dubbed Paragon is the one who came up with this idea, and he is the one who also stated before Nintendo’s E3 direct that the second and the third characters added to the game will be the Dragon Quest’s ‘Hero’ and Banjo-Kazooie, and he was so right.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Might Get Waluigi As The Final DLC Character
The fans of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate are already nervous and excited, even though they have in mind that it is possible that the rumors could stay at this point with no chances of happening, but they also consider the possibility that a leak from before E3 took place regarding the final characters added to the game.
The players can’t consider Frisk a possible new DLC character of the game, not just as much as Waluigi at least, but with the leaked information about Dragon Quest’s ‘Hero’ and Banjo-Kazooie, there are vast chances of this scenario to happen.
Although there are no official statements from Nintendo about the forth and the fifth DLC characters added to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, we know for sure that Dragon Quest’s ‘Hero’ will be available this summer and Banjo-Kazooie will be available this fall. After these two characters appear, we will know for sure who will come next and if Waluigi is going to be the final DLC character added to the game.
