Rockstar’s GTA 6 does not have an official release date, but it’s safe to say it won’t be coming earlier than the release of both the new consoles that Sony and Microsoft will release in 2020, The PS5 and the new Project “Scarlet.”
More fun with the cross-play feature
The bad news is that Rockstar Games does not have any plans for releasing a version for the older to be consoles that are PS4 and Xbox One. Although this might be tragic for the users of these consoles, the fans will be pleased to hear that this new Rockstar project might be the first to feature cross-play because of the partnership that Sony and Microsoft are working on for a cross-play platform between the two.
From a singleplayer point of view, this won’t be much of a change, but for those that enjoy playing online with their friends or family, GTA 6 Online will deliver a beautiful environment for them.
Plans for the future
Rockstar has not shared any news on the release date of this new Grand Theft Auto project, although many online leaks suggest there won’t be any versions for PS4 and Xbox One. Google Stadia or the PC platforms were not mentioned in this leak, but we all know that the PC gaming community will not be excluded. Regarding the way that Rockstar has done things in the past, we can be sure they will take their time before announcing anything significant about Grand Theft Auto 6 and its Story Line. The primary example is Red Dead Redemption 2, where it had many delays before it was released and the same thing we can expect for GTA 6.
As of now, we fans will have to keep an eye out on the news that Rockstar Games will be sharing and hope that their new release will come soon and that they will deliver a fantastic gameplay experience paired with a good Story Line that we all fans know and love about Grand Theft Auto games.
