Samsung has recently announced that they will soon mass-produce the first 12 Gb LPDDR5 Mobile DRAM in the industry. Thanks to this invention premium smartphones get a super-fast memory. With that being said, there is no doubt that they will equip the Samsung Galaxy S11 with it.
The name of this invention takes a while to pronounce, but all you need to know about it is that the smartphones that will feature the 12Gb LPDDR5 Mobile DRAM will perform better. The 12Gb LPDDR5 Mobile DRAM will change the next generation of devices.
According to the company that manufactures the 12Gb LPDDR5 Mobile DRAM, Samsung, this new RAM can’t be compared with what we find in today’s smartphones as it is 1.3 times faster. The smartphones that will feature the new DRAM will also have 12GB RAM. This way about 12 full-HD (3.7GB-sized) movies could be transferred per second, 44 GB of data.
Samsung Galaxy S11 Might Equip 12 Gb LPDDR5 Mobile DRAM
This new RAM is manufactured exclusively for smartphones that support AI and 5G, but that does not come as a shock at all because it aims to revolutionize the smartphone industry. Future handsets will continue to offer a 12GB of RAM configurations, and the confirmation comes from this announcement.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus has this configuration and so will do the upcoming Galaxy Note 10 with no doubt. But LPDDR5 mobile DRAM configuration would be installed on Samsung Galaxy S11 for the first time in the mobile industry.
However, the latest RAM might not equip the Note 10 because it comes too early and the memory will begin its mass production at the end of the month while the handset should be announced on 7th of August. With that being said, the smartphone we can say will feature this RAM is Samsung Galaxy S11.
