Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is one of the fastest-selling Nintendo game. The game has sold more than 12 million copies since its release date in December 2018.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate players looked forward to the new features promised to be made available in the next update which includes:
- New VR mode
- New amiibo journey mode
- Amiibo figure players can be used in Battle Arenas.
- Introducing a new character
- Restoring the popular stage-builder mode with more options
- The ability of players to create their stage designs
- New video editing tool that players can use to create clips and highlights
- Making available new platforms for players to share videos, screenshots, stages, custom Mii fighters, etc.
- With the shared content portal, players can download customized stages and Mii fighters and also vote with a ‘Yeah!’ for their favourite characters.
- Smash World, a new app by which shared contents will be made available, but players’ have to be a Nintendo Switch Online subscriber to use the new app.
- With the ‘Smash World’, players can search for content based on character, stage or favourites and also set it to download automatically to their switch.
How to Update Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Solution 1: Check the automatic download option
The Nintendo console will update itself automatically if ‘automatic download’ option is activated.
Solution 2: Use the Home menu
Launch the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate game from the ‘Home Menu’ while you are connected to an internet source. You will get a prompt once you are connected. All you need to do is follow the instructions displayed on the screen to update your Nintendo Super Smash Bros. Ultimate game.
Solution 3: Run Software update
- Select the Super Smash Bros. ultimate game,
- Press either the plus sign (+) or the minus sign (-)
- From the options displayed, select ‘Software update’ > > ‘select Via the Internet’
To check if the update has been installed
- Select the Super Smash Bros. ultimate game,
- Press either the plus sign (+) or the minus sign (-)
- From the options displayed, the version number is beneath the game title.
