Microsoft Edge 42.0.22.3818 Beta Update Goes Live Today with Faster Performances

There are lots of powerful mobile browsers that you can install on your smartphone in order to surf the web and Edge is one of them. This is a world-class mobile browser that gives users access to a plethora of useful features. However, this is not what makes Edge stand out. The reason why Edge has been downloaded and installed by millions of people from all over the world is because Microsoft is the company that is directly in charge of it.

Since Microsoft is one of the world’s biggest tech and software companies, then it should come as no surprise to anyone that Edge is updated on a regular basis. Microsoft’s developers are always looking for new ways to enhance the performances of Edge and they are doing this by releasing a constant stream of software updates that introduce bug fixes and software tweaks. In fact, a brand-new one has just arrived.

Microsoft Edge 42.0.22.3818 Beta Update

The latest update that Microsoft has released for Edge sports the 42.0.22.3818 beta version number and it’s being rolled out via OTA (over the air) channels right now. The update weighs in at 79.11 MB and it requires a minimum Android 4.4 KitKat operating system in order to run without any issues. On the downside of things, not all Edge fans are eligible to download the new update right now.

As the update’s version number implies, this is a beta release. This means that the only Edge fans who can download it are those who are enrolled in the beta program. Luckily, Microsoft is allowing everyone who uses an Android powered smartphone to get in the Edge beta and access all the latest updates and the bug fixes that they bring ahead of everyone else.
