Method 1: For Windows PC
- Hold down the Windows key + R and press ‘Enter’ on your keyboard to open the roaming folder
- Locate the ‘.minecraft’ folder and double-click on it to open
- Copy the ‘saves’ folder to another location on your PC to restore your saved worlds.
- Go back to the ‘Roaming Folder’ and locate the ‘.minecraft’ folder.
- Right-click on the ‘.minecraft’ folder and select delete from the listed options.
- Deleting ‘.minecraft’ folder will uninstall Minecraft PE from your PC.
- If you have accidentally deleted the Minecraft launcher, visit Mojang’s official website, log in with your account and re-download the Minecraft launcher.
Reinstalling Minecraft
- Double click on the Minecraft launcher to start the installation process.
- Run the Minecraft launcher to install Minecraft automatically.
- Exit the Minecraft after completing the installation.
- Open the ‘.minecraft’ folder and copy the ‘saves’ folder back into it.
- Confirm your action to overwrite the default ‘saves’ folder and its contents.

- Copy’ ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft’ and paste in the search bar of ‘Go to folder.’
- Press ‘Enter’ on your keyboard
- Copy the ‘saves’ folder in the ‘minecraft’ folder to a location, preferably your desktop
- uninstall Minecraft from your Mac PC by dragging the ‘minecraft’ folder into the ‘Trash’ folder of your Mac PC.
To reinstall Minecraft,
- Download a Minecraft launcher from www.mojang.net if you have deleted the launcher)
