World of Warcraft is one of the biggest games on the planet. It presently has over 100 million users that generate around $10 billion of revenue per year, as of 2017. The massive online multiplayer is an offshoot of Warcraft 3 as it continues the storyline of the RTS, as well as the unit models and graphics.
WoW Patch 5.3.5 features
Ulduar Timewalking. An ancient evil called Ulduar that had been forgotten is now resurfacing. At least in the perspective of the player. Time travel will be a feature that the game will use to transport the player back in time. The time period will be the cleansing of the ancient evil of Yogg-Saron. Characters will be limited to level 80.
Silithus. After completing Antorus, a new quest is available. The capitals will see the Burning Throne convene and players will receive the quest to uncover some mysterious occurrences. This involves traveling to Silithus and discovering details about the sword of Sargeras.
Scaling system. This new system will allow players to have more options in terms of their quest areas. This involves the active quest area as well as the upcoming ones. The system is the same that was first seen with the introduction of Legion.
Seething Shore. This is the new 10 vs 10 map from Blizzard. The goal is to collect 10 pieces of Azurite. A rare metal that the Alliance and the Horde are struggling to obtain.
WoW Patch 5.3.5 upgrades
Wakening Essences will be obtained during player activities. These will be 6 times more abundant than before. 300 Essences can be sued to upgrade legendary items to Vridiel.
Mythic Keystone dungeons will have game mechanics that will be similar to a raid encounter. A player will start such a dungeon with one charge. Charges will take 10 minutes to power up.
Holiday Dungeons will be available for players that will start at level 20. Rewards from the dungeons will scale with the player’s level. Blizzard has stated that players should keep their eyes peeled for holiday dungeons in the near future.
The S.E.L.F.I.E camera feature has been made easier to access. Level 15 players can get the Cam Mark I with the completion of a quest on Stormwind of Orgrimmar. The Mark II will be available as an upgrade and it will be unlocked by satisfying a group level 30 quest. The feature will also get new background filters but players need to find out how to unlock them.
