Here Are The Best 2018 App Store Applications

Each year Apple releases a list with the “Best iOS Apps”. The list was recently posted, just a couple of days after Google Play presented the Best Android Apps for this year. Let’s take a look at the most appreciated apps of 2018.

  • Donut County – iPhone Game of the Year
  • Gorogoa – iPad Game of the Year
  • The Gardens Between – Mac Game of the Year
  • Alto’s Odyssey – Apple TV Game of the Year

“We stopped playing these games only long enough to recommend them. With inspirational storytelling, delightful design, and innovative use of the latest Apple technologies, they do more than challenge players — they deliver exceptional, compelling experiences,” App Store described the games.

Best apps of 2018
  • Procreate Pocket – iPhone App of the Year
  • Froggipedia – iPad App of the Year
  • Sweat: Kayla Itsines Fitness – Apple TV App of the Year
  • Pixelmator Pro – Mac App of the Year

As Apple stated, “innovation and exceptional design” were the most important factors here. “Great apps provide intuitive new ways for people to learn, create, and accomplish. The App of the Year sets the bar for them all. We celebrate this year’s selects — and the developers behind them” added the App Store.
