Siri is one of the best features of the iPhone. The virtual assistant can help users with simple tasks making their lives easier. However, not even Siri is perfect. We all know how annoying it is to give a command that it does not understand. Luckily Apple also offered Siri shortcuts that can be created with the Workflow app.
However, after iOS 12 was released, users began to notice that there are some issues with the Siri shortcuts. If you encountered any of these problems, you should find a fix for them below.
Make sure Siri is enabled
Sometimes the problem might be simpler than you could have imagined. Siri might be turned off without you realizing. In order to enable the app, you need to go to Settings on your phone, select Siri and search button. You can press side button for Siri or Enable listen for Hey Siri in order to activate the app.
Edit or remove some shortcuts
You might discover that you have created multiple Siri shortcuts over time. Try to clean some of them. Go to Siri Settings on your phone and select Siri and search button. Tap My Shortcuts and you should see them. Edit or delete some of them.
Some users have discovered a solution that appears to be working for many people. In order to try it out, you need to go to the Shortcuts app and then tap a shortcut. Tap the setting icon, tap Siri Phrase and then select Re-Record Phrase. This might help you fix a shortcut.
Restore iPhone System
If none of these solutions worked for you, you might want to try to restore your iPhone System. In order to do that open iTunes and connect your phone. Go to the Summary page and click Restore.
