WhatsApp Changes: New Features That You Will See Soon

WhatsApp is constantly improving itself and adding new features. The upcoming update will also pack a couple of improvements for WhatsApp users. There will be numerous interesting functions that we are sure you will enjoy.

WABetaInfo managed to spot the upcoming features. It appears that they will become available in the 2.19.10 iOS update, but we are not sure when this update will be launched.

You can expect stickers for GIFs, videos, and image, as well as a new feature that allows you to reply privately when it comes to group chats. Let’s talk about them.

Reply privately

The name of this feature makes things pretty clear. Basically, when you use the “Reply privately” feature you will be allowed to answer privately to a message that was received in a group chat.

You just need to hold down the message from the group chat and you will notice that a “reply privately” option will show up. Once you select it, a new private chat window will open with that person and you will be able to chat with them.

Stickers

Stickers are also coming and WhatsApp users will be able to place them on images, videos and GIFs. Just select the files that you want to send and you will see an emoji icon at the top of the screen. Once you tap it you can add stickers or emoji.

“WhatsApp will present you a new redesigned section, where you can choose between Content Stickers, Personal Stickers and Emojis,” explained WABetaInfo.

Status updates with 3D touch actions

An extra feature will be coming for those with 3D Touch technology on their smartphones. Previewing status updates will be possible. You will be able to see see the first status update “invisibly” and there won’t be any read notifications.
