Android users, get ready because WhatsApp is rolling out the new 2.19.9 update just for you, providing you with a new feature. Thanks to this update, the group chat problem will also be fixed.
The group video and the group call were introduced by WhatsApp in August 2018, but there were some inconveniences created by them.
GIF related issues were also happening which later evolved in the up not opening or downloading.
During November last year, a beta version of this update was available, but it was still under development.
Last month this update came first to Apple users and now it is finally time for Android ones too.
WhatsApp Update 2.19.9 Features
Now, along with this update, there will be no more inconveniences with the group chats and calls. It provides Android users with the “Tap to Call” option directly to the group so you can create a conference call.
With that being said, you will no longer need to add person by person into the group call. Add all people to one group then call.
This feature is also available for video calling making it even easier.
WABetaInfo, a site that follows WhatsApp development. Noticed this update first. If you want to add another person to the group, you can do so by tapping the plus symbol.
To benefit from this update, download it from Google Play Store.
WhatsApp Future Updates
Many rumors claim that the fingerprint feature will soon come to this app as it is being tested. Users will now have an additional security method.
According to WABetaInfo, this feature is being developed, so it will first be available in the Beta version.
As users will be using the Beta version, WhatsApp will be helped in the development. Before releasing the final update, they will be able to fix any bugs and issues.
