If you want to watch movies on the go, your best bet is Showbox, but with the latest downtime issues, it’s always better to have a back-up plan. We have alphabetically added four great apps that work on iOS and Android. We have also added a few more alternatives at the bottom of this article.
Bobby Movie Box
A great alternative to Showbox, Bobby Movie Box is perfect, especially for iOS users – and you can find it on iTunes. It is also available for Android, and it gets updated often with new features. You can watch movies in HD and stream TV shows with this app.
The app can be downloaded from the internet, and it lets you stream movies in offline mode. It not only works on iOS and Android devices, but also on Chrome Cast. There’s also a kid mode and play subtitles feature to play with the movie when you want to enable it.
This simple app from Sony Pictures Television lets you watch movies on your phone with an easy interface that will help you find your favorite movie or TV show. You cannot download them for offline view, only allowing live streaming. Crackle is free on iTunes and Google Play Store.
A good app to download TV shows for free, FreeFlix has a lot of TV shows and movies, both old and new. It works on a lot of platforms – Android, iPhone, Mac, Windows, and Firestick!
There are more apps available on iOS and Android: Big Star Movies, Hubi, Popcornflix, TubiTV, and the following only available on Android: Stremio, Newest Movie HD.
Check out more about all these popular apps we found on Technofizi (which also features download links for the apps we mentioned above).
