Good News for Galaxy Tab S4 Users – Android Pie Is Getting Updated in the U.S.

A few weeks ago, Samsung has released the update for Android Pie for Galaxy Tab S4 for the LTE model of the International versions of the tablet. Now, finally, the U.S. update for Galaxy Tab S4 is receiving the Android Pie too. Take note that the update for the U.S is only available for the Wi-Fi versions. We don’t know anything about the LTE models yet, but we are hoping that Samsung will release the update soon enough.

What Is New in the Android Pie Update?

The update comes with version number T830XXU2BSD1 to the Wi-Fi models of the tablet. The size of the update is about 1.5GB, so you must make sure you have enough space on your device for downloading it. If you are an owner of Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 and you want to know if the Android 9 Pie is available, go to Settings-System Updates and check for updates. From the many features include by Samsung in this new version, one of it is notable: the new One UI.

Moreover, other features added to the update are the company’s virtual assistant – Bixby, and Samsung DeX. The keyboard is not forgotten as well, because a new Unicode 11.0 emojis are coming. After you make the update, you will see the unique features of the Camera app. It now includes Scene optimizer features, and it will automatically adjust the color and the settings depending on the scene you have selected.

Finally, you must know that Samsung is releasing its update on stages, so maybe you won’t find it on your search in the Settings menu. But on the other hand, the older Galaxy Tabs models will receive the new Android 9 Pie sometime in August if the rumors are right.
