The Galaxy A50 users from India began to receive a brand new Samsung update. The update comes with brand new features, as well as the April 2019 security patch. The upcoming update is supposed to bring another important function.
The update is slowly reaching all devices and it might take a couple of days until it will roll out on all Galaxy A50 devices. The update has software version A505FDDU1ASD6 and it has around 660 MB. New features
The new Bixby Routines is brought to the Samsung Galaxy A50 by the latest update. The feature uses the If This Then That principle and it was already available on Galaxy S10 devices. The function is also available for other Samsung Galaxy devices such as the A80.
The latest update also offered support for call and message continuity. This means that it is possible to answer text messages and even calls from compatible devices as long as you are signed into your Samsung account.
The camera of the Samsung Galaxy A50 also receives new features. For instance, there is a Beauty Video Mode for both cameras. This new mode comes with new background effects for Live Focus images. A narrow 68 degree field of view was also added to the frontal camera.
The update also comes with a couple of improvements. For instance, the performance of Fingerprint recognition was enhanced and the same thing happened to the security of the device. The „overall stability of functions” was also improved.
