How to fix Minecraft kicks out of Xbox One

If Minecraft keeps kicking you out from Xbox one while playing, it can be due to several reasons. To solve this problem, try out some of the fixes below.

Solution 1: shut down your console

• Shut down your console completely
• Unplug your console from the power source
• Wait for about 5 minutes before plugging it back to a power source

Shutting down your console completely clears out your console’s RAM and clears out any data that may be causing the issue.

Solution 2: Disconnect your Wireless headset

• Wireless headsets broadcast at the same frequency with wireless routers. To check if your wireless headset is the cause of the issue you are experiencing, unplug the power from the base station of your wireless headset and try launching the game.
• Other electronic devices such as microwaves, ovens, wireless speakers, wireless phone systems, baby monitors, etc. can also cause interference issues.
• You should ensure that all the cables behind your console are gathered together and are not touching the console.
• To prevent interference, the distance between your wireless router and your console should not less than 5 feet and not more than 50 feet.
• Eliminate objects and devices that may be interfering between the line of sight from your wireless router to your Xbox one console

Solution 3: Reboot your Xbox one console and router

• You should unplug the power cable from your router, modem, or gateway.
• You should press the Xbox button to open the Xbox guide
• You should select ‘Settings’ from the displayed options
• You should select ‘Restart console’ and select yes.
• If you cannot access the Xbox guide, hold down the Xbox button on your console until it goes off. Wait for 20 seconds and switch on your console.
• If you are connecting via a router, plug in your router and wait till the lights return to normal.
• Plug in other devices and check to see if the problem is solved.

Solution 4: On your router, you should enable Perimeter Network (DMZ)

• Enabling the perimeter network on your router to get rid of internet access restrictions. This relocates your device outside of your network firewall.
• Use a static address and avoid using combinations of port forwarding, UPnP, and DMZ settings.
