Minecraft Update 1.14.4: Villagers and Stew

Minecraft has become crazy large as it has passed 176 million units sold in the first half of 2019. The game has beat Tetris which had the record at 170 million. There are two variants of Minecraft, Java, and Bedrock. The latter is the newest version that is available on all platforms.

Bedrock is the more modern version of Minecraft but it still needs a lot of updates to gain all the features of the original version. The good news for players is that all new content for Java is available for Bedrock as well.

Villagers and getting high

The main changes to the game, other than bug fixes and improved performance, is how villagers go about their business. Also, what effects does getting high on poppy seed stew has.

Interactions with villagers will now be more productive and a little more fun. They will be stocked with more items and will not requite restocking while working. Their gossip game has been upgraded in the afterlife, as the zombie villagers can remember more stuff.

The effects of getting high off of the suspicious stew will now be changed to night vision. Apparently, it’s more fun to run around the woods without falling flat on your face. Rather than having a speed buff.
