Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most expected games of 2020, with already millions of players made fans anxiously breathing in every detail of the title that appears on the internet. CD Projekt Red is the game studio behind the genius title. Cyberpunk 2007 will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, and it has just been announced that a new addition will join the console’s launch.
The new addition won’t be a new DLC, but one of the standout stars of the last two E3 events. The plan was to launch a fellow tabletop game next year, and even though we don’t know yet when Afterlife: The Card Game will be released, it will be the same year as the complete video game experience.
This might explain the numberless rumors implying that Cd Projekt Red was developing more than one Cyberpunk 2077 games. As it turns out, the games ‘being worked on,’ were mostly linked to existing titles.
An unannounced project the game studio was working on is in connection to a mobile game, and not anything AAA. However, this new tabletop game is going to be a part of the Cyberpunk 2077 world, which should be great news to the title’s fans.
As per the last update from CMON, Afterlife has been created by award-winning game creator Eric M. Lang. The game depicts the dark alleyways of Night City, where merciless gangs fight with corporations in a continual war for money, control, and power.
If this game will be a hit with fans, CMON and Cd Projekt Red has announced that this will be just the first partnership between the two companies.
As mentioned above, there is no official release date for the new Afterlife game, except for the detail that it will be launched in 2020. This means that the game could launch before or after Cyberpunk 2077 is released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
