Google Play Services 18.7.16 Beta Update is Now Available with Improved Software Performances

The Android operating system is renowned for the premium user experience and fast performances that it offers. This is why no one should be surprised to find out that Google’s operating system has been pre-installed on hundreds of millions of smartphones. What many people don’t know about the Android operating system is that the reason why it delivers such high-level performances is thanks to a single component called Google Play Services.

Google Play Services is the Android component that is used in order to automatically update Google apps from the Google Play Store, to provide core functionality features such as authentication to Google services and many more other functions. With that said, no one should be surprised to find out that the Android parent is releasing software updates for Google Play Services on a daily basis.

Google Play Services 18.7.16 Beta Update

If you are a fan of the Android operating system, then we have some great news to share with you today. Google has just released a new update for Google Play Services and it’s rolling out via the official Android OTA (over the air) channels. On the downside of things, not all Android fans are eligible to download the new update right now.

The update sports the 18.7.16 beta version number and therefore, the only Android fans who can access it starting today are those who are enrolled in the Android Beta Program. Luckily, Google is allowing everyone who uses an Android powered smartphone to join the beta program and to top it all off, the only thing that Android beta users are required to do in exchange for receiving access to Google’s latest updates is to simply provide the developers with solid feedback in case they stumble upon a bug or software glitch.
