The chatting app has just received a new update that sports the 228.1.0.10.116 version number and it’s being rolled out via OTA (over the air) channels.
How to Download the New Update
There are two ways to download the new update. The first is for Facebook users to simply keep their smartphones connected to a stable Wi-Fi network and then to download it via OTA (over the air) channels. The second method is a bit more complicated because it requires users to manually download and install the APK (android package kit) version of the update. The tricky part about this installation process is that APK releases can only be installed on Android-powered smartphones that have the “Unknown Sources” option enabled in the Settings panel.
