OnePlus has been busy this year with the launch of the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro. The latter was the company’s first attempt at creating a phone with 5G connectivity. The CEO of the company has stated in an interview that the next phone in the lineup will also feature 5G internet connectivity.

The CEO managed not to name drop, however. As leaking information about your own company’s products is not allowed. But dropping a suggestive hint is acceptable. Judging by the company’s past behavior, special variants are usually released in the second half of the year.
The release date of the OnePlus 7T Pro is still unofficial, so it’s still a matter of speculation. But the phone is expected by the end of the year. There is no contesting that. Rumors vary, stating that the new phone will launch anytime between September and November. The latest one has it being released on the 26 of September in India, with a worldwide launch following soon after.

The guessing game has spread to the specs of the OnePlus 7T Pro as well. This is due to the lack of official information from the company. Manufacturers prefer to reveal that kind of information on launch day. However, users just love leaks because it lets them know about a device in advance.
The educated guess is that the OnePlus 7T Pro will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus CPU, which will be a slight improvement from the 855 on the Oneplus 7 Pro. The GPU will probably be optimized and the display will be a 6.7-inch Fluid AMOLED. The refresh rate will be a whopping 90Hz and the resolution will be Quad HD+.
