Solution 1: Clear out cached data

  • Tap on your device’s settings icon
  • Scroll through your device’s settings and tap on ‘Storage.’
  • Scroll to ‘Cached data.’
  • Tap on ‘Cached data’>> Tap ‘OK’ to clear your device’s cached data.

Solution 2: turn-off animations

  • Tap on your device’s settings icon
  • Scroll down and tap on ‘About phone.’ It is at the bottom of the ‘Settings.’
  • Tap on the ‘Build number’ five times to enable the ‘Developer options.’
  • Return to ‘About phone’ and tap on the ‘Developer options.’
  • Scroll through to ‘Window animation scale.’
  • Tap on the ‘Window animation scale’ and check the ‘Animation off’ circle.
  • Repeat instructions above for ‘Transition animation scale’ and ‘Animator duration scale.’
  • Ensure that the trio animation settings are displaying ‘Animation off.’

Solution 3: Uninstall or disable unused apps

  • Tap on your device’s settings icon
  • Scroll through the settings and tap on ‘Apps.’
